Transforming Rural Communities through Eureka’s Education Program: The Eureka Education Program is dedicated to closing the educational divide in rural communities, with a special focus on ensuring girls have equal access to education. A total of 80 students from Std 1-8 have been enrolled under the Eureka Education project in 2 villages of Vepanapalli Block, Krishnagiri District.
Wheels of Change - Bicycles for Girl Students: In many rural areas of Tamil Nadu, young girls face significant challenges in continuing their education due to the long distance between their homes and the nearest school. With limited or no access to reliable public transport, and schools often located more than five kilometers away, many girls are unable to attend regularly and eventually drop out after middle school. Most of these students are the first in their families to attend school, and the lack of safe and consistent transport becomes a major obstacle to their learning journey.
Supporting Lives Amid COVID-19 Crisis - Emergency Relief for the Most Affected Food: During the nationwide lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of daily wage earners lost their livelihoods and struggled to meet basic needs. In response, we launched a decentralized relief program to support the most affected families across rural villages and urban slums. The initiative focused on providing essential food provisions, hygiene products, and emergency rations to those hit hardest by the crisis.
Illuminating Learning Centers with Solar Energy: Radiant Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the right environment to learn and thrive. In partnership with the Eureka Evening Learning Centers, we have installed five solar lamps each at the centers in Virupasandiram and Nedusalai, bringing clean, bright, and group friendly lighting to communities that face frequent power shortages. These solar powered systems now enable children to study safely and comfortably after sunset, transforming evening hours into productive learning time.
