Our recent scholarship recipients include:
Varshan, a bright 5th standard student from H.C. Kothari Balavihar School in Thirumana Medu village, Lalgudi district. His parents, Moorthy and Bhuvaneshwari, worked in lathe jobs in Hosur for over 15 years before losing their livelihoods during the COVID-19 pandemic. Moorthy tragically passed away from aheart attack, and Bhuvaneshwari now works as a sanitation worker in Lalgudi Municipality to support the family. Varshan lives with his grandmother, and with a scholarship of ₹12,000 from Radiant Foundation, we hope to help secure his path to a brighter future.
Kanish Fathima, a resilient mother from Trichy, lost her husband to COVID-19 in 2021. Since then, she has been raising her two sons singlehandedly, one studying at C.S.I. Monahan Matriculation School and the other at Shri Venkateshwara Higher Secondary School. Kanish now works with the non-profit Aid India,balancing her responsibilities with strength and grace. Our scholarship support contributes to herchildren's continued education and well-being.
Meer Zaheer Abbas, a Class 11 student from Chennai, was awarded a scholarship of ₹25,000 to help manage his educational and school-related expenses. This support ensures that he can focus on his studies without the burden of financial uncertainty.Through these scholarships and many more, Radiant Foundation remains committed to standing beside students and families, helping them overcome challenges and pursue their dreams through the power of education.
